To conclude their Roman work this term, Year 5 had an immersive GOAL session completing a range of different activities including: investigating the engineering genius of the Roman aqueducts in a challenge; cooking Roman bread over the fire; re-building a Roman road and re-enacting a Roman attack using their self-built shields and the different marching formations we have learnt about.
