What a perfect afternoon. Lots of team spirit and role models on display. The House Captains were truly wonderful, the way they managed, supported and enthused their teams was just perfect. Thank you girls.
The netball grew and grew over the afternoon. I watched the Year 3 girls go from being timid at the start to really getting involved by the end of the session, moving into space and calling for the ball. Footwork has really progressed and the girls were looking for space and working hard to stay with their players. I haven’t had the privilege of coaching Year 3 this year, so it was great to see the enthusiasm and skill that is already building. For my Year 4s, I was proud of how they gave shape to the game and involved the Year 3 girls. Well done to everyone!
The games were extremely close and no house went unbeaten, but our final victors for 2024 were Lindsey. Well done!
