Year 1 have had such a lovely day experiencing life as a Native American. Thank you for the wonderful outfits, the children looked incredible. We started the day making clay pots (which will be painted next week) and creating wooden totem poles. It was fun having snack huddled in the tepee with the rain pounding down! We decided that life living in a tepee was probably quite hard! In the afternoon we wrapped up warm and spent time creating spears for hunting and protection, beaded necklaces and feather headdresses. We hope you enjoy the photos.
