The year 5 children played host to Stamford JS on Wednesday 8th May.
There were 4 matches of kwik cricket going on, in glorious weather at Copthill.
The A team played superbly well! They batted first and put on a whopping 187 runs from just 20 overs! The bowling was brilliant, taking many wickets which minimised Stamford run rate to just 54 runs. The whole team played extremely well and should be very proud of their achievements.
Mr Teesdale was impressed with his team as they came out on top, winning by 50 runs. As was Mrs Young as her team narrowly winning by 5 runs in a very closely fought match. Mr Willson was pleased with his teams performance, despite losing by 30 runs.
