Some of the children in year 4 travelled to Oundle School to take part in a kwik cricket festival on Thursday 15th May.
Team 1 played 3 matches, winning 2 and narrowly losing 1. They bowled very well with consistent line and length deliveries. Their batting got stronger as the festival progressed and I was impressed with the communication between the pairings. They should be proud of their efforts and the amount of runs scored in the final game in particular.

Copthill Y4 Team 2 played three games at Oundle today. Losing the first two to Witham teams, and showing improvements in all areas in the final game to convincingly beat Brooke Priory. Leo was chosen as our outstanding player for some excellent batting and fielding. A really good afternoon in which every player improved in some area.
