Thank you to Mr Tilney for an incredible, immersive WW1 experience for Year 6!
Year 6 were treated to a superb afternoon learning about the trench layout, weapons and advancements, gas mask evolution and soldiers’ kits. It was so brilliant to be able to see and hold these in real life and discuss them with some brilliant questions. We also experience how many soldiers would be lost going over the top and tried to recognise the anguish of such loss.
