We have been learning all about bees during our Forest School sessions this week. We have been on a bee hunt and have been learning how bees transfer pollen and nectar through fun activities using our bee finger puppets. The children really enjoyed using the pipettes, to collect the nectar just like a bee would before flying it back to its hive.
During our bee hunt we also discovered lots of caterpillars, living in their silken homes, attached to trees. The children were absolutely fascinated by this and spent a long time observing them.
Such a busy buzzy fun forest week!
