Even though we have had a four day week we have certainly packed a huge amount into it! The highlight of the week was the celebration we held commemorating VE Day. The children were very respectful and understood that even though we were celebrating Victory in Europe 80 years ago we still needed to remember all the soldiers who lost their lives to make this possible
Time is ticking along nicely. We challenged each other to change our ‘big clock’ to the correct time and then shared our answers – we even moved onto digital! We finished our GOAL session playing ‘Ladders’ which certainly tested us on our times tables!
The artist Henri Rousseau haws inspired us to re-create his jungle artwork. We cannot wait to paint these fabulous jungles and add our own jungle critters!
