The under 11 ‘A’ team played well in both their matches against very strong opposition. They lost a close match against Laxton ‘A’ 1-2 and drew their second game against a lively Leicester Grammar ‘A’. There were some good running and handling skills on display and the attitude and determination was excellent. Looking towards our next match, we will be working on stronger tackling to put the player down, quick decision making with hands on the ball and organising a defensive line when the opposition have the ball at a breakdown.
