Some of the Year 5&6 boys travelled to Gresham’s School in Holt to represent the East region in hockey on Tuesday 19th March.
There were some outstanding teams participating in the tournament, including Sussex and Norfolk champions, as well as other champions and runners-up from the East region.
The boys started brightly and could have easily won the first game, but unfortunately after conceding a sloppy goal they then let in another and despite pulling one back in the last minute, it was all a little too late.
As the tournament progressed, the boys came up against some tougher opposition and unfortunately lost their remaining games.
This was a great experience for the boys however, and will be an invaluable experience for the year 5’s should we progress next year.
