The U11 ‘A’ team performed really well at this large tournament in Colchester. In the morning they won all three of their games convincingly to come top of their league. This put them into the cup competition in the afternoon where they played two extremely intense matches against Littlegarth and Finborough, both very large schools. Both teams contained many large and powerful players, who were well drilled and extremely talented, Copthill performed admirably. Although losing both games, narrowly, they ended up in third place overall out of sixteen teams. An achievement of which the whole squad should be proud.
