Some of the year 5 and 6 boys played host to a very well organised Ratcliffe team.
Copthill took a very early lead through Aurion which was an outstanding team goal! We then went 2-0 up through a well rehearsed short corner routine which resulted in an own goal. They then got 1 back right at the end of the first 10 minutes.
The next two sets of 10 minutes were very tight and close in term of possession and chances. Ratcliffe managed to scrape one again in the final 10 minutes of the 3rd 10 minute sections. It was 2-2 right until the last couple of minutes when Ratcliffe scored the winner and their goalkeeper making at outstanding save from a reverse hit which would have made the score 3-3.
