A win and some great play by the U11 c girls team in the beautiful sunshine! Some much-improved bowling with multiple wickets taken and great runs with the girls showing much more awareness for acting on opportunities. In batting, there were also some strong hits, looking for space to hit in and several 4s. Most of all, some wonderful encouragement and teamwork!

A simply emphatic victory for the U11C boys this afternoon, and the sun made it all just as good. Luca stepped into his role as captain supporting his team throughout the game. Lots of lovely 6’s scored and a whopping 9 wickets. A dominant performance from all and they should be very chuffed with themselves! William was named MOTM. Mr Dobson
The U11B girls worked super hard today. We had a great block of practice before the game and it gave us time to talk about fielding roles and the importance of communication and backing up. These skills were then wonderfully displayed by the girls in their fielding block. A super catch from Grace, a bowl out from Charlie and an on point throw into the wickets from Erin allowed us to steal the win. Matilda was named bowler of the match for some outstanding pace and accuracy, and Erin was named batter of the match with some strong connections. Well done girls! Mrs Alcoran
