Throughout their ‘I have a dream topic, Year 5 have been learning about famous people that have changed the world. Today, we studied Benjamin Zephaniah who impacted huge amounts of people through his poetry, songs and activism for human and animal rights. We explored some of his poetry and chose some to perform and then analysed the messages together. Talking Turkeys and Britain were our class favourites!
