Continuing with our measuring skills in maths this week we focussed on capacity; careful pouring and accurate reading. We also used IT capacity games to further our understanding:
We put our measuring skills into practice when we made a Sunrise Surprise mocktail for our ladies in the kitchen. Adding the grenadine was rather magical! We wrote out the recipe so that they could make another one if they fancied it! Of course we had to treat ourselves to one too.
During our Forest School sessions this week, we made some lovely characters from our favourite books using natural resources:
We also checked and fed our chickens who are still having to remain within their coop – spacious but still restrictive! We enjoyed the sunshine and fed the bees.
We had a lovely time creating some very beautiful things for some special people, but don’t want to give too much away here!
In PSHE, we have been thinking about how we age and in particular how our appearance changes. We used filters to give an idea of what we may have to come! It was rather a shock!
