Year 1 kept their maths alive this morning in the fresh, crisp air. Each child was tasked with an array of subtraction sums that required them to visit the conker store to collect the correct number of conkers. They then set about subtracting the correct number of conkers to reveal the answer. Everyone was on task and fully embraced the opportunity to run around and solve numerous subtraction sums.
