The red bibs played 4 well fought matches, with some fantastic passing and moving into space. There was some precision shooting, despite the windy conditions and great teamwork throughout. Mrs Underwood.
The girls all played amazingly today, despite some strong opposition. The girls implemented the use of separate channels, which we have been working on during lessons. Miss Welch.
Some fantastic netball at the Stamford festival today and a great challenge to encounter new schools. The attack down the court showed great use of channels and some better driving to create new space. Some fantastic work interceptions in the air too! Mrs Hesford
The green team found the 5aside format a new challenge, it made them slow the play down and really use their defensive players up the court. They had some confident wins against Laxton and Brooke Priory with a much tighter game with Stamford, leading to a draw. We were lucky to meet Bedford who like Copthill play 7aside. So we had a wonderfully matched game with them taking a 5-3 win feeling much more settled in our 7aside positions. Well done girls, a lovely afternoon of netball. Mrs Alcoran
