A fantastic afternoon of science at Oundle! Year 5 became biologists investing a range of organisms under the microscopes including locusts, cheek cells and even some bacteria! We then went to the chemistry labs to experiment with iodine clocks, accurately measuring solutions and timing the colour change to show a chemical reaction- as one y5 commented ‘it was just like magic!’ So lovely to see so many budding scientists!
