Some great elements of hockey in the u11 b and u10 A and B matches at Ratcliffe on a glorious autumnal afternoon. The girls demonstrated some good defence in the face of very strong opposition. Unfortunately, the final scores were three losses but the coaches were highly impressed by the girls’ efforts and resilience, improving throughout the quarters, showing plenty of heart and finishing well. Some excellent individual upfront play and great teamwork in defending the D alongside our new goalies who all did a fantastic job. We look forward to taking learning points away to bring to our next game.
