Year 1 have been very busy learning all about the Powhatan tribe and as part of their learning journey this week they have created some amazing artwork using a wide variety of different art materials. These have included using charcoal pencils, acrylic paint, oil crayons, gold and silver pencil crayons and water colours.
With such a wide variety of art materials used, the finished Powhatan Chiefs and their amazing headdresses really did command attention. Each Powhatan Chief proudly displayed an array of colourful feathers that adorned an authentic headdress.
