This week we have immersed ourselves in deepest darkest Peru! We have been learning and investigating further about the climate, population, festivals, food and famous landmarks within this beautiful country. The children were amazed by the size of the Amazon Rainforest – it is 28 times the size of the United Kingdom.
Look at our Peruvian patterns – we looked at Peruvian clothing and noted how colourful and detailed they are. We aim to use our patterns for another creation coming up in June!
We made bread in our Outdoor Learning session and guess what we ate it with? Marmalade! Especially for Paddington Bear fans! It was a first for some children and most really enjoyed it!
