We had a fantastic and informative talk from PC Phil this week. He came to talk to the children about being a police officer and what the job entails. Mrs Dimbleby and Mrs Holder were allowed to wear the helmet and jacket. PC Phil explained to the children about what he did in his job and showed them the equipment that he had to use such as a walkie talkie.
We also celebrated Diwali. We learnt a fabulous dance, made rangoli patterns and some diya lamps. We learnt all about this “festival of light” and the traditions associated with it.
