For our EEL session today the children have worked well understanding the concept of physical and human features. We looked at the features around us, deciding if they were physical or human features. The children then worked in small groups to create their own miniature 3D maps using foraged materials from the woods. The children decided to add many different features, including volcanoes, mountains, bridges, rivers, houses, we even had one group that built the statue of liberty. The children took turns to tell the class about their creations.
