On Monday afternoon, Year 4 were delighted to have a visit from Mr and Mrs Delacherois-Day to talk about their experiences of living in Kenya. The children were fascinated by some of the photographs and stories from Mr Delacherois-Day’s childhood, growing up in the Kenyan bush. They were particularly amazed to hear about the hyena’s hunting habits! They also enjoyed looking at and trying on the Kenyan artefacts including bracelets, headbands and a decorative shield.
Thank you very much to Mr and Mrs Delacherois-Day for coming in and giving the children a taste of life in Africa!
