We had a lovely observational walk this week. We could see the debris that had been washed up during the flood and used binoculars to spot wildlife. There was a quick check on the bees – they were feeding on the fondant that had been put in there at New Year. They will soon be out foraging for nectar and pollen from the spring flowers. We found a sunny spot for our snack before heading back to school.
We made up riddles to go with our portrait pictures of our chosen famous person. Some will definitely keep you guessing!
We were continuing to learn about multiplication and repeated addition using number lines. Some of us were rather good at multiplying by 10!
