Oh what fun we had!

It was open morning this week and we had a super time exploring the characters within a fantasy story. You wouldn’t believe that we the characters actually visited us for an interview! But not to worry we had already prepared ourselves for some amazing questions to find out a little more about them and what had happened in the story. We also were introduced to some shadow ghost minions – which didn’t appear until we created them in the playground.

Fore! We had a little taster session of golf earlier this week – it was a superb experience and we really go to grips with our swing, chipping and putting!

We have been looking at how we can improve our writing of sentences – here we are exploring alternative sentence starters:

We made some beautifil flowers in art using water, felt tips and cotton wool pads. The results were pretty impressive and very realistic! So pretty!

Forest School took us out and about on springwatch: using our senses we listened to sounds of spring, smells of spring, tastes and touches of spring! We made wild seed bombs and dandelion vinegar.

The weather took our reading with Year 6 outside – it was glorious!
