An afternoon of design engineering saw year one create some incredible moving story books. They were designed to tell the story of the Jolly Postman and the route that he took in delivering his assortment of letters to a variety of different fairy tale characters. The children learned about the direction of movements and explored the mechanisms required to make these work by creating different examples of side-to-side sliders.
