It’s been a wet, grey and soggy old week here at Copthill, however as always we made the most of it during our outdoor sessions this week. We had a wonderful time flipping pancakes and replenishing our bird feeders. Due to a few mis-flipped pancakes the birds got a few extra treats too! We loved learning about growing carrots and why they became orange!
Love is in the air during our art lessons this week! The children made some very heartfelt pieces to take home to give to their favourites!
Don’t you just love a contraction? We have (We’ve) been very busy finding out the correct contraction for two words. As always there were a few that are the exception to the rule which made it rather tricky!
‘Measure once cut once’ – this was something we lived up to this week in our maths lessons.
Here we are learning how to measure ourselves accurately (although ticklish feet were quite a challenge!)
