Year 1 were immersed in the excitement of magical potion making as part of their fairy tale adventure. The ingredients were from far away magical lands and included an array of rat whiskers, witch finger nails, unicorn tears, goblin snot, rainbow dust, goblin spit, unicorn sneezes, lizard bones, witch dandruff, vampire fangs, phoenix feathers, dragon droppings, fairy flowers, rat tails and ice chippings from the forbidden forest as well as a multitude of other interesting additions.
They took their turn to add the ingredients, give the potion a stir and cast the magic wand over the mixture. It bubbled and boiled and looked amazing! After the excitement of creating the potion, it was down to business writing all about what was included and how it was added.
