I can only apologise for a lack of a photo of the Year 6 boys. They were so busy registering with the Marshalls for their relay final that we missed them! Arthur, Boogie, Joshua and Ben congratulations on being selected to make the boys team.
This really was an adventure for everyone involved, children, parents and teachers! It was our inaugural ISA Athletics and we took 17 children, boys and girls across Year 5&6. They competed in a number of track and field events with the elite goal of qualifying for Nationals. A very tough challenge as only the first placed athlete from each event was awarded a place.
In what was a wonderful day of competition we had so many wonderful performances. Special mentions just got to Boogie, who won a bronze in the 600m, Francesca who got silver in the shot put and Ben who grabbed the gold and a spot at Nationals in the shot put.
Ben will go on to compete in Birmingham on the 17th June, we wish him all the luck as he represents the Region.
