A great afternoon of hockey putting all of the girls’ skills to the test in the Autumn sunshine. Some strong defence and goal keeping by the U10Cs and amazing attacking with some super effort up front and mid field. A strong 2-0 victory for our first match and a disappointing 0-2 loss for our second but some amazing shots on goal and great teamwork. IHe
Playing full length matches against Stamford Junior School A and B teams gave our girls a wonderful opportunity to show their skills and judge their progression at this critical stage of the term. Rotating players between the sides also allowed the coaches to see how players slotted into different formations and coped with the challenges presented by differing opposition. All the girls played with great heart, and demonstrated how much they have learnt in holding a formation and working as a team, with two very creditable performances.
