This week we have been learning how to use the mallets safely while getting creative with some Hapa Zome (the Japanese art of flower pounding) art work. The children were eager to select and arrange different flower petals and leaves on their fabric, before folding the fabric over and tapping all over with the mallet to transfer the colour from the petals and leaves to the fabric. What beautiful creations!
