Sharing fairy stories with your children provides a wonderful experience for you both as we are transported out of reality and into the magical world of storytelling. This half term we shall be exploring a variety of traditional tales with children in Nursery and Pre School. Our first story was the much-loved tale of ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’. The week started with a big surprise as the Pre School children discovered a crime scene in the classroom! Someone had turned over chairs and left bowls and porridge oats scattered everywhere. A red ribbon and golden locks soon led us to believe that Goldilocks was responsible. We therefore made Wanted Posters and drew careful pictures of Goldilocks to help discover her whereabouts.
