In Religion and Worldview, we have been thinking about the importance of giving thanks. We have a good understanding about beliefs and offerings to show gratitude. Hindus show gratitude or thankfulness by carrying out puja which is a form of prayer and worship.
The children really enjoyed sharing and learning about all the special items in our photos. They are a ‘murti’ (statue of their gods or goddess) cup and spoon, incense holder, bell, diya lamps, cups and the ‘aum’ symbol.
