We have all been enjoying the sunshine, the children noticed how much cooler it was in the woods and wondered why. We noticed all the new leaves on the trees and chatted about how these leaves were blocking the sun and providing shade. This led to talk of how we stay safe in the sun.
The children explored our beautiful woods, with some lovely independent play, with lots of climbing, minibeast hunting and pretend games of the big bad wolf as well as hunting for dinosaur bones!
