Year 1 increased their understanding of a frog’s life cycle and learnt lots of interesting facts that they were able to write about. They learnt the meaning of the word ‘amphibian’ and what tadpoles eat, they learnt that a froglet loses its tail what the frogspawn looks like. They also perfected their cutting skills and expertly weaved green paper strips to create an impressive weaved effect.
