This morning the Reception children were treated to a delightful French breakfast experience. Wearing their festive French party hats, they tucked into a delicious array of traditional French breakfast foods, including croissants, pains au chocolat, baguettes and even brie for the more adventurous eaters!
The atmosphere was enhanced by charming placemats and menus, thoughtfully designed by the Year 1 and Year 2 French Club members. The room was decorated with flags, bunting and images of Paris, and the sound of French café music added an authentic touch to the morning.
To top it all off, the children had the chance to take turns playing the accordion – a highlight of the event that brought plenty of smiles and spontaneous rounds of applause.
