We have been thoroughly enjoying our topic in Reception. This week we continued our magic carpet ride to China. We learnt about the different languages, the delicious food and how the writing symbols are not like ours in school. We talked about the difference in climate and animals to the United Kingdom and even looked at dragon dancing.
We did so well with our Lower School stampede this week and it was great fun to represent our houses. Well done everyone.
We have been learning about number composition in mathematics and started to add simple addition sums.
Forest Schoool was a chilly affair and we melted some ice which taught us about changes in state. We also started to use the bow saw to make some Christmas decorations.
