The children have been busy making bird feeders in the woods. This follows on from showing an interest in the birds, particularly the robins that we spot in the woods. The children watched as we melted the suet on the fire, we then spread the suet on a stick and squished and sprinkled birdseed on to the stick. A grown up helped to attach the string and the children chose where to hang their bird feeders. We then had a look for different birds using our binoculars in the bird hide.
