We have been relishing our new English topic – Beowulf – and over the last two days, the children have immersed themselves in this epic tale of good vs. evil. They have thrown themselves into the challenge of acting out part one and two, which sees Grendel attacking Heorot and killing its soldiers night after night, only to be killed himself by the mighty Beowulf, who has travelled over the seas to save Denmark.
Everyone took part with enthusiasm, whatever their role, and demonstrated true team spirit along the way!
