In Nursery and Pre School this week, we have had tremendous fun exploring the story of ‘The Little Red Hen’ as part of our farm animal topic focus. The story not only ignited discussions about being kind and helpful to our friends but it also inspired us to bake our very own bread. The children learned about how bread has yeast to make it rise and just how sticky dough can be as we formed our very own bread rolls.
