Every morning, the children have eggcitedly rushed over to our egg/teeth eggsperiment to discover how the eggshells are responding to the different liquids that they have been immersed in! Vinegar and squash seem to be causing the most eggcitement due to the amount of damage! See below some images of the eggs and the conditions they are now in, and we are sure that the children will want to eggsplain to you what has happened and why!
On Monday morning, the children welcomed Peter and Anne from Specs for Africa to deliver an assembly, updating everyone on the progress that has been made during the last year with their charity initiative, and also to give a recap on what they do and why it is so important. Peter and Anne support a growing number of communities in Africa to give reading glasses, prescription glasses and sunglasses to people who desperately need them. Their charity is gaining momentum and they have had tremendous support from some large organisations recently. We are pleased to be supporting them once again this year and are hoping that we can donate a large number of glasses to their cause.
