We ran a completely different format to normal this week. Trying to maximise the children involved. Rather than just one hockey game on our Astro, we played three U11 games back to back! Starting at 1:30 and finishing at 15:40.
It was lovely to see a mixture of Year 5&6 children playing together. This week we played the girls who had chosen to attend hockey club as we have had more time with these girls. Going forward this will not be the case. Next week we see all girls playing against Ratcliffe. Split into U10 and U11 teams for this fixture.
I was so proud of the hockey played yesterday. The improvement across the match was enormous and children responded really well to coaching pointers. It’s a long journey through to house matches and the development and progression is always wonderful to see.
