The culmination of our Year Three Woodwind Project saw both Year Three classes take to the stage to share their skills in a woodwind performance to the school. Playing either recorder or toot (plastic flute) we enjoyed class renditions of ‘Disco Duet’ and ‘Baggy Pants’. Both classes played in 2 parts showing real skill. Great job Year 3!
Our Woodwind Ensemble then took the stage to play a toe tapping ‘Final Countdown’ showing just how far this young group has developed after only a term together.
Under the expert eyes of Jasper and Angus some curious audience members tried out playing a pBone or a jHorn to the audience’s delight!
