The children from year 5&6 took part in their annual kwik cricket house matches on Wednesday 2nd July.
After the rain had passed to leave a lovely clear and sunny afternoon, the children demonstrated some excellent cricket to finish the term.
The children were split into 2 tiers and took part in a round robin tournament which took place over a couple of games sessions, culminating in the final session yesterday and as if we had planned it, there were actually 2 games in each tier that ended up being the final in each one.
Lindsey took the spoils in tier 1 in a nail-biting finish against Milton and Casewick came away with the silverware in tier 2 beating Lindsey by only 7 runs.
All the children can be very proud of themselves and good luck to the year 6’s as they move on to pastures new.
Mr Smith
