This week in Year 1, we have been learning all about coins and money! 🪙💰
We explored the different coins we use in the UK and practised recognising them by size, colour, and value. To help us remember what each coin looks like, we did some fun coin rubbing with wax crayons. 🎨
We also played an exciting interactive whiteboard game where we matched coins to their values and practised using the right coins to make different amounts. Everyone worked hard to solve money problems and choose the correct coins to total given prices. It was a fantastic week of hands-on learning and money fun!
