What an exciting morning we had in Year 1! Today, we had a very special visit from an animal expert who brought along a wide range of fascinating creatures for us to meet. We got up close with all kinds of animals – from reptiles and invertebrates to birds, dogs, and even a golden eagle!
We were so brave and curious as we held, stroked, and learned about these amazing animals. There was a husky with soft, thick fur, a toad that felt bumpy, a shiny spider that made some of us jump, and lots of interesting reptiles like lizards and snakes. We also saw some beautiful birds and creepy crawlies – everyone had a chance to take part.
It was wonderful to see how confident and gentle everyone was with the animals. We asked great questions and learned so much about where the animals live, what they eat, and how to care for them.
The whole year had a fantastic time – it’s a morning we will never forget!
