In preparation for writing a flashback from the perspective of an orangutan, the children have been gathering vocabulary to describe a tropical rainforest. They have really enjoyed the opportunity to watch videos about Borneo, learn about how intelligent orangutans are and discover the challenges that they are facing due to deforestation.
