Y5 became Crime Scene Investigators in science this morning, putting their scientific skills to the test to investigate and compare different dyes in pens to solve the case of ‘Who pushed Humpty Dumpty off the wall?!’ Great discussion of filtration, evaporation and distillation before we learnt about other ways of separating with chromatography.
