It has been a busy week in Year 4 with the children continuing their work on The Big Five and Africa! They have been investigating different features of a non-chronological report in preparation for designing and writing one of their own about their chosen Big Five animal.
The children began by retrieving information about a variety of animals and then examined a number of example texts. They have chosen their animal and are excited to research it based on questions they generated themselves. Next week, they will begin writing their non-chronological report in earnest!
